MANAGEMENT OF THE FOUNDATION
The Code 3 for a Cure Foundation is led by a Board of Directors who meet a minimum of once per quarter to set the direction for the organization. In addition to establishing goals and general policy, the Board will review appications for financial assistance received from firefighters and make decisions as to specific gift requests. (The Foundation has not yet begun accepting applications for financial assistance, and will not do so until such time as a sufficient fund has been established.) The Board will also allocate a small percentage of funds to selected nonprofit organizations involved in cancer research and/or cancer patient assistance programs.
On an ongoing basis, outreach will be conducted to raise awareness of the Code 3 for a Cure cause and to acquire financial support from organizations and individuals. This will take up a large percentage of the organization's time, especially during its early stages of operation, as the Foundation will rely solely on contributions to fulfill its purpose.

The Board of Directors of the Code 3 for a Cure Foundation is comprised of five members, including two officers and three directors:
